Tiki Wine & Vineyards are seeking a vineyard operator to assist with harvesting operations. This is a temporary role, commencing from the 20th of March until the 20th of April. You will be required to operate a tractor and grape gondola, safely collecting fruit from harvesters and tipping into bulk trucks. This role provides up to 12 hours per day, with the potential of working weekend days and night shifts when required. You will be required to - Safely operate a tractor and gondola on private property or public roads. - Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. - Follow plans and instructions from supervisors. - Ensure efficient and effective operation to meet deadlines. - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. - Assist with any other tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

A practical, positive, down to earth person with a can-do attitude and willingness to work both in a team and autonomously. A strong work ethic and be reliable. Have proven tractor-based machinery experience, ideally of at least 2 years and in vineyards. Harvester operation experience is preferred but not essential. Be happy to do hands-on work. Have a valid NZ Drivers License. Legally be able to work in New Zealand. Have a proven history of Machinery experience. Provide us with 2 contactable work references.

Monday - Sunday, 12 hour shifts. 6-6 (40 hours per week)
