Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic

Implement the direction and follow instruction set by the Manager/ Supervisor. Perform day to day tasks as required and directed by supervisor. Complete specific tasks allocated. Collaborate effectively to ensure team goals are achieved by providing input into decision making and problem solving. Ensure all relevant tools, materials, equipment and vehicles are used and maintained appropriately. Work includes: Early starts (6:00 am – 8:00 am commencement time) Driving to and from office/site Operating machinery (under supervision), machinery parts Working at heights (ladders, inside rooves) Working around hazardous chemicals Electrical Work (supervised) Attendance at all scheduled training as per Training Contract with RTO Achieve minimum competency requirements and standards of relevant off the job training program at TAFE or other registered training organisation.

Customer Service - Compliance with site regulations and procedures Maintain a professional and tidy appearance Develop strong relationships with customers to generate repeat business and ensure they satisfied with the outcomes Achieve standards and timeframes Ensure all work tasks or activities are completed to the required standard and timeframe Prompt response to customer queries Work collaboratively to resolve issues Comply with all policies and procedures Health, Safety, Quality & Risk - Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, company policy and procedures and all statutory policies and procedures Ensure that activities comply with legal and ethical standards Contribute through your actions to a safe workplace for all employees Personal Development - Through continual personal development, maintain an awareness of industry changes with respect to your area of responsibility including technical, commercial and competitive matters.
