Delivery Truck Driver

Looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team!

Tasks and Responsibilities: • Loading and unloading the truck • Delivery of chilled bread and dry goods to customers in the Wellington area (territory will be provided to you once you start) • Follow any rules set up around the depot and the company • A positive working attitude and willingness to learn • The ability to work unsupervised • Punctuality is critical • Be physically fit as there will be heavy lifting involved • Willing to start work in the early morning hours or at odd hours of the night • Must be able to travel to and from work on your own eg, 12am start • Honesty, reliability, customer focus, and a can-do attitude is a must have • Demonstrate good and safe driving skills and practices • Ability to use handheld equipment for delivery purposes or willingness to learn to use one • Be composed and able to work under pressure • Be able to provide cover work for Staff on leave

Qualifications and Experience: • Must have a clean truck Class 2 license (full) or be able to produce one (if you have an international licence you will need to undergo testing via a driving testing agency and have your Licence converted if you qualify). • 6+ months experience as a Truck Driver would be an advantage however we will provide training for the right candidate • Must be able or willing to work on Public Holidays • Be able to provide cover work for Staff on leave • Be willing to undergo random drug and alcohol testing
