Knitting Store Manager

Iconic Knitting store in Hamilton is seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable individual with excellent time management and organizational skills. As you will often be working independently in the store, self-motivation is essential. The ideal candidate should have experience in the retail industry and the ability to connect with people across diverse age groups. Beyond strong interpersonal skills, we are looking for someone passionate about contributing to the growth and success of our iconic knitting store in Hamilton.

PROFICIENCY IN KNITTING is required, and experience with a sewing machine would be a plus, as it will aid in demonstrating and selling our sewing machines.

You will be responsible for managing 2 staff members, stock ordering, the daily running of the store, growing sales and excellent customer service and product advice.

Training will be given to the successful applicant along with a supportive culture to ensure you have what it takes to succeed.

-Must have a good knowledge of knitting and an understanding of sewing. -Ideally experience in a sole charge role -Experience in retail at a supervisory level -Good Communication skills -Customer Service Passionate -Full Driver's Licence -Clear Pre- Employment checks
