About this job

• Assist in selecting appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task. • Measure and cut materials to the required size. • Work with a variety of materials, including hardwood, softwood, veneers, particleboard, and synthetic woods. • Support cabinet makers in assembling standard and custom cabinetry components. • Help with repairing and refurbishing furniture and cabinetry as needed. • Apply finishes such as sealant, varnish, or paint under supervision. • Ensure completed items meet quality standards and design specifications. • Assist carpenters with general building tasks on construction sites. • Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and work areas. • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently under guidance. • Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment. • Load, unload, and transport materials and tools as required.

Job Requirements

Must have proven work experience using building tools. • Related skills and knowledge will be highly preferred but not mandatory • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Availability to work on weekends, early mornings and late evening shifts. • Self-motivated and a passionate individual • Hardworking individuals • Multi-tasker • Team-worker
