Wairoa Community Centre Receptionist – Part Time
About this job
Manage the Reception area and ensure a strong customer service focus, in a clean and tidy working environment. Effectively manage and utilise the Point Of Sale and cash register system to ensure effective stock control and accounting systems are kept. Provide general administration for the Wairoa Community Centre and Sport Hawkes Bay as directed. Ensure accurate maintenance of databases and memberships are maintained. Assist in other areas of the Centre’s operation as directed and carry out any other function as determined by Wairoa Community Centre Management. Oversee the marketing and promotion of the Wairoa Community Centre. Assist with concentrated supervision and observation of the pool water and its immediate surrounds. Ensure the facilitation of safe practices and behaviour of customers to prevent accidents. Ensure the provision of aquatic sport and leisure in a safe, clean and enjoyable environment. Participate in Pool Lifeguard Training to gain the knowledge and skills to assist Pool Team Members in case of an emergency. Have a current First Aid Certificate.
