Truck Driver

Must be able to manoeuvr vehicles into position for loading and unloading. Late night driving may be required to facilitate the clients and deliveries loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices Must be able to handle the freight effectively, timely and safely. Participate in all safety procedure Maintain, clean and tidy vehicles Taking care of safety measures while loading and unloading vehicles. Regularly check quality of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely. Must be able to estimate the weight to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight in the vehicle. Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage Must be able to verify loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries.

Flexible with working hours and should be able to work over the weekends(days of work includes weekends as per the employers requirement and weekly roaster) Class 5 Truck Driver minimum 3 year exp. or graduate or level 4 qualification, must meet the English requirements as per INZ Full Drivers License with drivers endorsements Heavy lifting could be part of the job A pre employment medical and drug test will be part of recruitment process
