A reputable Accounting and Taxation firm based in Three Kings is seeking a dynamic and personable Accounts Assistant with exceptional organizational skills and technical expertise to manage compliance requirements while providing strong support to management, clients, and team members to join their team.
About the Candidate-
Qualifications - Bachelor degree in commerce / accounting Experience - At least 1 year experience Key Requirements - * In-depth knowledge of New Zealand Accounting & Taxation * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Excellent organizational and time management abilities * Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Word), XERO, MYOB and (preferably) Crystal Payroll * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues * Commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving targets * Technical proficiency with accounting/payroll software * Ambitious, with long-term career aspirations * Passionate about excelling in your role * Meticulous attention to detail and high numerical accuracy * Quick learner, able to handle new tasks efficiently * Capable of working with minimal supervision * Pass Pre Employment checks - Ministry of Justice, Credit Check and Drug Test * Provide references * Ability to speak Hindi or other Indian languages preferred
Responsibilities: * Assist with the preparation of GST & FBT returns * Support in preparing Tax returns for individuals and businesses * Help in preparing Financial Statements * Process payroll * Manage Accounts Payables & Receivables * Oversee the General Ledger * Assist with day-to-day and ad-hoc tasks from the Director/Accountant * Perform general office administration duties
