Takanini based employer is looking for an experienced Indian Sweet Maker/ Cook with experience and knowledge in all traditional Indian snacks and food.

Key responsibilities: • Plan and organise the preparation and cooking of food in a dining or catering establishment. • Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs. • Ordering food supplies. • Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation. • Discuss food preparation issues with managers, dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff. • Demonstrate techniques and advise on preparation and cooking procedures. • Explain and enforce hygiene regulations. • Select and train staff on how to freeze and preserve foods.

Must have at least 3 years’ experience making northern Indian sweets Must be available to work weekends and late nights Must be a non-smoker Must pass MOJ and pre-employment drug test Hindi and Punjabi speaker (preferred)
