As a Duty Manager/Cafe Manager, your responsibilities will include:
+ Service & Operations Floor management of 5 shifts per week + Experience in espresso making is essential + Support with Food and beverage ordering & control + Monitoring of cleaning & waste routines + Seasonal staff recruitment support + Shared rostering responsibility + Train staff within managers guidelines + Monitor time sheets- signing out staff at the end of their shift + Report any serious staff performance issues to management + Responsible for taking cafe bookings + Follow staff F&B guidelines and monitor strictly + Inform management of any maintenance or repairs needed within the cafe + Manage floats & change supply + Monitor all cash ups
Securities: + Daily shift cash up + Recording of change safe + Open & lock up procedures + Alcohol Management and Host responsibility + Observe and enforce the Sale of liquor act
Job Requirements
Either have or be able to obtain a Managers certificate
- Days of work
- Wednesday - Sunday, (5 days a week) with a mix of shifts: 7am-3pm or 2pm-9pm (35 hours per week)
