Assist the Deli Manager to prepare and present fresh high quality food while maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Prepare and present fresh foods for sale including salads, cold meats and deli items -sandwiches, pizzas and convenience meals. Prepare and cook simple dishes following the Deli managers recipes, and roast meats for the heated service area. Clean kitchen area including all equipment, food preparation/service areas, and customer facing displays in line with standard operating procedures and Food Safety requirements. Prepare, package, weigh and label pre-ordered fresh deli foods for collection. Monitor and record fridge temperatures, heated food safety checks, scale recalibrations and other food safety measures. Comply with all Food Hygiene and Food Safety Standards. Actively engage with customers by keeping up to date with product knowledge, promotional information and providing accurate information.

Job Requirements

Maintain a high level of personal presentation and have a fantastic work ethic.

Days of work
5 days per week between 7am and 10pm, includes weekends and public holidays (35 hours per week)
