Dog Day Care Attendant

If you have commercial kennel, veterinary nursing, fostering or dog rescuing experience, then please read on. A fulltime Dog Day Care Attendant is required by a Doggy Day Care Centre to join their team. The role involves caring for dogs, teaching them to socialise with other dogs, cleaning up, pick ups and drop offs, undertaking pack walks, taking photos, customer service and answering the phone

Commercial kennel, veterinary nursing, fostering or dog rescuing experience is preferred. You will be confident interacting with all breeds of dogs, have very good communication skills speaking with clients and ensuring the dogs are socialising in a non-aggressive manner, be physically fit, able to undertake lifting, be a quick thinker, use initiative and be very health and safety conscious. It is imperative that you are willing to follow instructions, can cope with pressure, able to work well in a small team, are honest and trust worthy and have a high tolerance of noise. May be required to pass a security check and drug test and need to have a Full Driver licence.
