Store Team Leader

Lead from the front and drive performance with the team. As a Store Team Leader, you will be responsible for the running of the departments, deal with customer and staff issues while the managers are not on duty, and lead from the front and drive performance with the team. You will need to have great customer service skills and enjoy responsibility. As a Store Team Leader you are responsible to ensure that a great shopping experience for all customers happens while Department Managers aren't there. You will need to:

• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers wherever needed.

• Oversee staffing, shop standards, and store closing processes across Dry Goods departments.

• Ensure a fresh, inviting, and seamless shopping experience for all customers.

• Contribute to achieving financial targets, including budgets, sales forecasts, and minimizing wastage.

• Work flexibly across different store departments as required.

• Early morning starts: Mon 4 am - 1:00pm Tue 1 pm - 9:15pm Wed 1 pm - 9:15pm Thurs 8 am - 5:00pm Sun 6 am - 3:00pm

• Hold New Zealand Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid New Zealand work permit.

• Full drivers’ licence.

• Pass a drug test.

• No criminal convictions.

• Pass a credit check.
