Earth Moving Plant Operator
About this job
Can you prepare and position plant for operation on site , operate the machine and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner having preformed daily maintenance and safety checks? Selecting fitting and removal of attachments such as scoops, shovel blades, rock-breaking hammers, winches and blades. Operate controls to excavate break drill level compact gauge out move, load, and spread earth, rock , rubble, soil, and other materials. You must be able to work from drawings, markers, and verbal instructions all whilst working with ground crew personnel. Servicing, lubricating, cleaning and refueling, performing minor adjustments and repairs.
Job Requirements
Minimum
1-year Relevant Experience or Knowledge in Heavy Vehicles or Machinery or General Physical Trade or Machinery Work or Digging or Construction or irrespective of the Industry you have worked in or NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) or Digger Operator with Wheels Tracks Rollers Training (WTR) and must have Class 2 International License which will be equivalent to New Zealand Driving License Class
