About the Role Although you will be part of a team, you will work as an individual to quickly build rapport with a diverse range of people over the phone including those in vulnerable situations who need advice, information and urgent assistance. In line with legislation and policy you will respond to client requests with empathy and kindness. We support our clients to help themselves with online access. You will be required to navigate multiple systems, therefore your skills and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly are important. The Contact Centres work in an integrated model supporting other contact centre units within the Ministry of Social Development. Flexibility and the willingness to adapt and learn other processes is required. Future training will be provided to enable you to assist these other areas of the Ministry.
