Truck Driver

Auckland based employer is seeking Class 2 Truck Driver for moving furniture.
Job includes but not limited to
• Operate/ Supervise and help with loading the truck with furniture. • Ensure loads are properly secured and in good condition before transit. • Adhere strictly to safety protocols throughout each trip. • Maintain accurate records, including verifying and managing invoices for transported goods. • Strategically plan the most efficient routes for deliveries. • Complete timely pick-ups and deliveries as scheduled. • Log work/rest periods, track driving distances, and organize fuel/toll receipts. • Implement fuel-saving practices to improve business efficiency. • Promptly report any mechanical or equipment issues. • Report any incidents or vehicle-related issues encountered on the road. • Keep the vehicle well-maintained, including cleaning windows, mirrors, and ensuring the interior is free of clutter and debris.

Job Requirements
Must have a valid full Class 2 license (have Manual gearbox experience) • Relevant work experience is preferred • Loading and unloading heavy furniture items • Physically fit to be able to load and unload truck manually • Available to start the work early and work on the weekends • Must pass drug and alcohol tests. • Must have a clean driving record. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work • Self-motivated and hardworking individual • Reliable transport

- Generally between standard works hour, could be some overnight jobs as traveling is required/ 30 hours per week (30 hours per week)
