Restaurant Manager

SOUTHLAND/INVERCARGILL: A local Winton employer is looking for a full-time Restaurant Manager to join their friendly team.

Do you have a current Bar Manager’s licence and great with people? If so, keep on reading.

Duties include but are not limited to: • Running a team of around 15 staff. • Training staff. • Cash handling. • Ordering stock. • In charge of the bottle store. • Addressing any complaints and customer queries.

Days and hours: • Wed-Sun. Split shifts. Must be flexible with nights as well.

Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience, The successful candidates must have a duty managers license and to have at least 2 years’ experience managing a restaurant,

Pay Rate: Pay Rate to be discussed with the successful applicant, this is negotiable depending on experience.

We are looking for someone who is available for an immediate start and is able and capable of managing a team.

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: • Must have a clean Class 1 Drivers Licence. • You must be able to pass a police check and pre-employment as part of the employment process. • Least 2 years’ experience managing a restaurant. • Have Barista skills in a similar role. • have an up-to-date CV with relevant references. • Have an outgoing personality. • Have outstanding Customer Service skills. • You must be willing to work and turn up when required. • hold New Zealand citizenship or have New Zealand Permanent Residency. • You must be willing to work in a team.
