Machine operator

Local employer seeking machine operators to join their team on a full-time basis.

This role focuses on operating vehicles and machinery safely and efficiently while collaborating with various teams, such as groundwork, management, harvest, planting, and irrigation. Key responsibilities include:

- Operating machinery and vehicles while adhering to health & safety standards and company policies. - Maintaining and servicing machinery as per schedules, ensuring compliance and minimizing fuel/waste. - Communicating repair and maintenance issues promptly. - Maintaining accurate records of daily checks and operational activities. - Ensuring safety by reporting any accidents, injuries, or near-misses. - Demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication within the company. - The role involves varied tasks and requires a commitment to continuous improvement and safety.

- Tractor driving experience desired but not mandatory. - Must hold a clean restricted or full license. - Wheels, tracks and rollers desirable. Forklift desirable. - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. - Criminal convictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
