This position is for a friendly, motivated, and capable self-starter looking to make a real impact in a vibrant and supportive team.
This role includes preparing morning and afternoon tea. Getting the children’s lunchboxes ready at lunchtime. If time allows daily baking (breads, muffins, cookies) to support the team and children, general cleaning of the amenities on-site, general tidying of the grounds, some feeding and collecting eggs of the chickens kept on-site. While there is a good amount of activity this position would suit all age groups and abilities.
Job Requirements
Minimum age of 17 years Greeting whanau as they arrive in the morning. No training is provided so an ability to bake (with a few recipes up your sleeve) and the ability and willingness to work as part of a team is essential. Reliable transport to and from work also essential as this is a very important role in the centre. To have a flexible attitude, to help out with the children when needed. Have good time management skills as this is a busy job.

- Monday/Tuesday: 8.30am - 2.30pm Wednesday: 8.30am - 5.30pm Thursday/Friday: 8.30am - 2.30pm (30 hours per week)
