This Early Childhood Centre caters for children aged from infants to 3 years of age. We are seeking a special someone who is warm, caring, patient and approachable, aware of each child’s needs That can create a caring and safe environment where whanau can leave their children in confidence. Is available and approachable with whanau. We have a long history of high quality ERO reports, we provide amazing ratios for our tamariki, our commitment to providing high quality care to young children. The successful candidate will work in a vibrant and supportive environment with other teachers who are in-training or trained.

A commitment to start an ECE Bachelor’s Degree is a requirement of the position.

Job Requirements

Minimum age of 17 years. Previous experience is not necessary but candidates must be kind, patient and able to exercise an exceptional duty of care to the children. Willingness to get involved in activities ranging from childcare, cleaning, and care for the environments including the food gardens and animals kept on-site. We are a nature-based environment, so if you like looking for bugs or collecting warm eggs while working with young children this will the place for you.

Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5.30pm (30 hours per week)
