The Rest Home Activity Facilitator position has become available. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading a variety of activities designed to engage and stimulate the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents in a residential care facility. The role involves developing programs that promote social interaction, creativity, and personal enrichment, tailored to the needs and interests of elderly residents, including those with physical or cognitive challenges.

Job Requirements

qualified candidate must have: - National Certificate in Diversional Therapy Level 4 -Previous experience working with elderly populations, preferably in a long-term care, rest home, or residential facility setting. Experience in planning and facilitating recreational or therapeutic programs is an advantage. -Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with residents, families, and staff in a positive and empathetic manner. -Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to enrich the lives of elderly residents. - a valid full driver's license
