Assistant Restaurant Manager

Duties & Responsibilities • Responsible for all restaurant service attributes on a day to day basis. • Relieve the Restaurant manager on his weekly OFFs and Holidays. • Maintain and adhere to establishment policies and procedures • Maintain standards for food safety in the restaurant area • Have an outstanding knowledge of all food and beverage menu options • Assist in preparing wine lists • Ensure all equipment and restaurant environments are operational • Impart knowledge, skills and training to restaurant staff • Uphold morale in the restaurant • Assist in managing front of house meetings • Assist in managing staff rosters / staff records • Ensure customer satisfaction by dealing with any complaints when they arise • Follows liquor licensing regulations • Follows the Little India Host Responsibility Policy • Taking diners food and drink orders and serving food to diners’ tables. A hands-on approach.
Job Requirements
• Hold LCQ Certificate or Duty Managers Certificate • Training • Cash Handling • Bar handling skills and Coffee making knowledge • Basic knowledge of Indian food and spices • Minimum 1 year experience in Hospitality Industry, preferably in Service Department Interpersonal Skills • Good communication • Customer and staff handling skills • Team player • Ability to give instructions to the Team members
