About this job
Experienced Class 2 driver with great numerical skills needed for Rotorua/Taupo delivery run Duties include the following: Loading and unloading, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery heavy vehicle. Ability to read codes on boxes, count and deliver them with out error. Able to travel to different routes as allocated. Follow route and time schedule. Pick up the goods from the suppliers and deliver ahead. Follow the instructions provided by the management. Follow safety requirement when loading or unloading the goods/vehicles. Regular quality checks of vehicles to make sure that they can be driven safely. The truck must be tidy and clean in all conditions for the next person to operate. Follow traffic law and regulations in accordance with NZ Transport Agency Law and NZ Police. Conduct yourself in professional manner. Job Requirements
Should have his own phone and transport to come to work. Must be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting and loading and unloading. Must have a Level 4 or above or equivalent tertiary qualification as a good mathematics knowledge is required to read the codes on boxes, count the boxes and then deliver. Full Class 2 or equivalent Licence. Must be able to start early morning 6:00 am shift. You should have knowledge of manual gearbox as we have manual trucks. Minimum 32 hours and maximum 40 hours depending on work. The job is based in Rotorua however the applicants are required to travel between Rotorua and Taupo regions must have clean licence, pass MOJ check and drug test
