Front of House Server (Food Truck)

We are looking for a Hospitality Server to assist our team at Our Specialty Vegetarian Food Truck in Mount Roskill.

This role will require the successful candidate to: Greet customers confidently and professionally before taking their orders Take accurate orders ensuring allergies and diet requirements are noted Learn about and grow your knowledge of Jain Vegetarianism Serve items, clean away used Utensils, assist cooks to prepare dishes Understand all food and beverage items on the menu Be able to explain particular products to customers Offer personalised recommendations Determine customer requirements Accept payment for goods and services by a variety of payment methods and prepare sales invoices Assisting with the ongoing management of stock, such as product inventories Participate in stocktakes Stacking and displaying goods for sale and wrapping and packing goods sold Comply with the venue’s standards when producing and dispensing food and beverage products

We are open daily from 6pm so this role would require someone reliable to commit to turning up for their evening shift.

Manage Stock Take customer orders Calculate cash and Eftpos transactions accurately Help kitchen to serve food Serve Food and Beverage Provide friendly and professional customer service for our valued customers Reliable transport as we open 6pm-Late Able to assist with clean up at the end of the shift

Ability to understand ingredients and allergy requirements

Communicate the customised orders to to our Cooks, to cater for Jain Vegetarian customers
