A locally owned and operated transport company based in Rangiora, North Canterbury seek a Driver. Operating similar to an oversized courier we specialise in new goods direct to the domestic and commercial identities throughout Canterbury. We are looking to recruit a fit, energetic, well-groomed individual with a clean class 1 licence to be a part of the team and class 2 licence is an advantage.
Covering Christchurch Central and the greater Canterbury district the role is fast paced with very heavy lifting at times.
Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be interacting with a diverse clientele base.
Working in teams of two you will also be responsible at times for the management of an off-sider, ensuring company protocol, efficiencies and safety measures are met at all times.
Driving our large modern vehicles you will have a sound knowledge of Canterbury, be responsible for the integrity of the vehicle and safety of others. The position is Monday through to Friday with alternating Saturday’s so weekends are involved.
Job Requirements
Full clean Class 1 Drivers Licence.
Full Class 2 licence.
