Staffing Team Leader

We are preparing for our 2025 season and have two-night shift leadership roles available. This role requires strong attention to detail with administrative functions and pastoral care responsibilities. You will take on the in-team HR support role, ensuring people are on time and paid for their work each week. You will start on a seasonal contract, with the potential to move to permanent employment.
• Pastoral Care: Support and guide team members, helping them adjust to their roles while being mindful of their personal needs. • Staffing: Plan and ensure staffing targets are met daily. • Payroll Time & Attendance: Ensure all staff clock in at the start of their shift and record absences according to procedure. • Training & Compliance: Train staff and assess their competency, ensuring documentation is complete. • Health & Safety: Promote and follow health and safety policies and procedures

Job Requirements
•Be able to pass an MOJ check and Drug Test •Have an up to date CV •Hold a restricted drivers license • People Skills: Communicate clearly and help and train team members. • Computer literate: Comfortable learning new skills • Team Player: Work well with others and collaborate effectively. • Attention to Detail: Be accurate and proficient with admin and payroll tasks. • Adaptability: Stay calm and handle pressure well. • Confidence: Lead disciplinary actions and toolbox meetings. • Experience: Previous Packhouse experience is a plus, but not required. • Must have the right to work in New Zealand and be able to pass pre-employment screening and checks.
