Class 5 Heavy Truck Driver - Long Haul

South Auckland based trucking company in search for a Class 5 Heavy Truck and Trailer driver for their line haul deliveries. Ideal candidate will have full clean Class 5 licence and flexible to work on route of Auckland-Gisbourne-Wellington-Auckland.

Ideal candidate will be - Complete all relevant documentations - Ensure the vehicle is kept in clean and tidy condition - Attend to usual reporting procedures associated with driving - Carry out daily checking of vehicle (oil, water, fuel, air pressure, safety conditions and equipment security, road user charge licence, hub odometer readings) - Constantly keep the employer informed of any updates/maintenance required for the vehicle - Carry out any other such duties the employer may reasonably require To apply please email your updated CV at sandy.ram003@msd.govt.nz with Job ID as reference.

Must have: • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience. • Valid full and clean Class 5 diving license. • No criminal history and able to pass drugs test. • Able to work on long routes and stay away from home to meet the business requirements as and when required. • Is flexible with their availability and able to work both day and night shifts including weekends as and when required. • Able to unload and load the trailer using a pallet jack. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. • Self-motivated, hard working and a passionate individual
