A Tokoroa based Te Kohanga Reo is currently seeking Kaiawhina who understands the principles of the kaupapa o Kohanga and has the passion to help nurture and grow our children. You should have the ability and willingness to; learn Te Reo and tikanga, participate in Professional Development programmes and learn about Kohanga Reo and its curriculum. You'll also have the ability to work with the children, kaimahi, whanau and be willing to offer support in various areas where needed, have skills in areas of song, dance, arts and crafts to help assist in the children's learning.
Job Requirements
• Qualification in Te Ara Tuatahi or Te Ara Tuarua otherwise willing to enter the course. • Hold a First aid certification or willing to sit your First Aid certificate. • A cleared Police Vet or willing to undergo a Police Vet clearance. • Passion to work with under 5s in large groups. • Interested in upskilling through the kohanga reo kaupapa, passionate to learn and explore alongside our mokopuna, providing great learning experiences and opportunities together.
