Key responsibilities include: Cleaning and arranging guest rooms Stripping and making beds, and changing bed linen Cleaning the interior of buildings and the immediate outdoor areas Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors; vacuuming and shampooing carpets; and cleaning curtains and upholstered furniture Dusting furniture, fixtures, and fittings, and polishing them Scrubbing and sanitising showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks Picking up rubbish, emptying garbage containers, and taking contents to waste areas for removal Restocking minibars and replenishing items such as drinking glasses, writing equipment, and groceries Maintaining kitchens, washing dishes and cooking utensils, and cleaning appliances, cupboards, counters, pantries, and floors Washing used bedding, linen, and clients' clothing Reporting breakages, damages, and safety issues for repair Performing any other duties the employer may reasonably require If you have the required skills please email: craig.nicol008@msd.govt.nz
Job Requirements
No specific experience or qualifications are required; we provide basic training upon starting. However, skills, experience, or knowledge in cleaning and housekeeping are advantageous. Must be drug free with clean police records Must have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa with unlimited work right. On call may be required
