Japanese Ramen Cook

Henderson based Japanese restaurant are on the hunt for a Japanese Ramen Cook to join the team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Preparing fresh ingredients for Japanese ramen and other dishes. - Ensuring all Japanese cuisine recipes and preparation requirements are met. - Controlling the temperatures, seasonings and flavours to specification. - Ensuring the quality of food and the size of food proportions are to standard. - Ensures that all food is attractively presented. - Prepares and cook Japanese food to meet special dietary requirements. - Ensuring the storage of foods and others meet restaurant and statutory Health and Safety requirements. - Updating and developing new cooking techniques and procedures in accordance with the new menu. - Maintaining a strict level of hygiene in the kitchen workstations. Job Requirements
- No prior qualification is required, but must have some hospitality or kitchen experience - Work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen. - Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime. - Must be flexible to work lunch and dinner shifts and be able to manage two shifts in a day. - Full commitment is required. - Be reliable, responsible and punctual. • Be hardworking - Be able to pass a police check.

- Must be flexible; available for noon and/or night shifts on the roster every day except Wednesday. (30 hours per week)
