Homecare Support Worker- Awanui

Home based Support Worker position available in Awanui. This is a part-time position offering 22 hours a week. However, 90 day trial periods applies. In this role you will be responsible for: - Assisting the client with shopping, cleaning the car, showering, and dressing. - Washing, hanging out and fold bed linen, - Washing dishes, - Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, cleaning the oven, - Watering plants.

Ideal candidate: - Must have experience in a similar role, - Must be reliable, honest, and trustworthy, - Motivated and has a genuine interest in the position, - Use your initiative when and where required along with being content to assist with household cleaning requirements.

1. Must have at least 6 months experience in a similar role, 2. Must be reliable and able to work the days and the times requried, 3. Must be able to perform the duties required including assisting with personal care and house hold cleaning requirements ( please see the description), 4. Must have reliable transport to get to work and if you have your own transport, you must have Restricted license or above, 5. Must be able to drive the employer's car at times ( automatic transmitted), 6. Must be drug free, 7. Must have no convictions, 8. Must be physically fit enough to perform the duties required, 9. Must have at least 1 work-related reference.
