Builder / Hammerhand

A Winton based engineering business that specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of dairy wintering barns is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Builder / Hammerhand. Our work team undertake the entire job from design, foundations, erection, plumbing and fit out of the entire shed giving a range of work and varied skills. We require experienced workers to join our team with a range of skills that include: *Safe work practices on industrial building sites. *Accurate use of laser levels and measuring equipment. *Usage of handheld portable power tools and equipment. *Concrete foundation work, form work, part concrete, placing and finishing. *Bolting, standing and erection of structural steel members, along with bolting a range of steel shed fixtures and fittings. Experience is required is: * At least 6 monthstrade experience in commercial construction work * Small digger and bobcat driving * Working from scissor lifts at heights * Ability to weld MIG, stick, steel and stainless steel. * Plumbing using PVC and alkathene * Concrete placing The successful person will also possess good time management, able to work independently, strong communication skills, be punctual, reliable and presentable. Ability to identify risks and, able to take preventative measures to minimise delays and hazards. Must pass drug test and police check. Have a full drivers licence, forklift endorsement and reliable transport.
