Agricultural Machinery Operator

Prepare, operate and adjust when and where required the self-propelled sprayers. Agricultural spraying driving a truck and/or self-propelled machinery. Driving a truck tanker. Record keeping including the use of Trackmap proof of placement, GPS auto steer/auto rate/auto section and inventory. Preparing, mixing and application of agrichemical recommendations. Shows attention to detail in knowing what filling and clean-out requirements there are for chemicals. Mixing and carting Liquid Urea to clients’ farms. Able to complete maintenance and service of spraying machinery. Able to fix any mechanical faults and report to the owner. Following operational procedures and health and safety requirements. Building rapport and professionally engaging in communication with clients. A requirement is to have your Certified Handlers Certificate. If you do not already have this Hampton Spraying Limited will arrange and pay for you to complete this course.

Minimum 1 year of direct job related experience. Mechanically minded (Able to fix any mechanical faults on utilsed machinery). A requirement is to have your Certified Handlers Certificate. If you do not already have this Hampton Spraying Limited will arrange and pay for you to complete this course. Having a Truck or Heavy Machinery licences would be helpful but are not essential.
