Local employer is look for a social media saavy coordinator to work on a social media platform. Duties will include Content posting develop and schedule social media post across all platforms. Monitor social media channels for user comments, questions, and messages. • Respond promptly to user inquiries, comments, and direct messages to foster community engagement. • Engage with followers by liking and commenting on their posts where appropriate. Social media strategy development Content calendar management Gather feedback from the audience and team to improve content. Collaboration with other departments. Must be a great communicator with both good written and verbal ability. Good time management skills and able to work under pressure. Able to work closely with the team to ensure information is relayed in a timely manner. Must be forward thinking, analytical and creative. Able to pass a security check and be legally allowed to work in NZ. Job Requirements

1. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in social media or marketing can substitute for formal education. 2. Experience: • 1-2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing is preferred. • Familiarity with managing social media accounts for brands or organizations. 3. Technical Skills: • Basic proficiency in major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn). • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus. 4. Content Creation: • Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content for social media. • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or other user-friendly applications. 5. Analytical Skills: • Ability to understand social media metrics and assist in reporting on engagement. • Familiarity with basic analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights). 6. Communication Skills: • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to engage with followers and respond to inquiries. 7. Creativity: • A creative mindset to help generate ideas for social media posts and campaigns. 8. Organizational Skills: • Strong organizational skills to assist with content scheduling and management. • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a content calendar. 9. Adaptability: • Willingness to learn about new social media trends and tools. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. 10. Passion for Social Media: • A genuine interest in social media and enthusiasm for building online communities.
