Class 2 Driver

Looking for a job that is more than just driving? Are you an experienced Class 2 Truck Driver with ability to drive both Manual and Automatic transmission trucks? A reputable Onehunga based family business recognised as leaders in waste management and recycling is seeking a professional Class 2 Truck Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate -

* You are a professional driver with an interest in a driving position, and you recognize that there is more to being a professional than simply holding onto the steering wheel. * Proven class 2 driving experience in manual and automatic transmission trucks * You are honest, trustworthy, willing to learn (training provided), and able to work individually as well as part of a team. * You must not be afraid to get out of the vehicle and do some physical work. Holding on to the steering wheel is only one part of this role. You must be physically fit as you will be collecting Garden Bags. * Must pass MOJ, Drug and Alcohol and ACC checks

Your Role - * Be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission trucks * Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain logs (Eroad/logbook) * Comfortable with technology (Tablet/Mobile Phone) * Physically fit and able to do manual handling. * Adhere to Health and Safety standards and practices. * Have flexibility in hours including working a minimum 50 hours per week and every second Saturday
