Home Care Support Worker- Kawakawa/Paihia/Russell

We are looking for Support Workers around Kawakawa/Paihia/Russell to support people to remain active, safe, and independent in their own homes and Communities.

Support workers are caring people with a commitment to providing the best possible support to our clients. Each client will have individual care requirements and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as personal care, food preparation, mobility or bowel/urinary continence care and ensure medication needs are met. You may also help our clients to participate in the community, undertake shopping for them or help them to take part in their hobbies.

No qualifications are necessary and full training will be provided.

1- Minimum of a Restricted Driver licence 2- Own vehicle- Mileage is subsidised. 3- Have own smart phone with data (there will be minimal data use required, some usage paid) 4- Be keen to do all facets of the role including home management/personal cares (involves showering, changing nappies etc) 5- Be transparent with any convictions etc. Police vetting is completed 6- must have 2 x Work-related referees 7- Good Physical fitness for some heavy lifting, so no back or shoulder injuries please. 8- Be drug free in order to pass any testing 9- Complete an simple Application form which will be emailed IF shortlisted.
