You will be someone who has mature thinking, a common sense approach, good initiative, a good engager, a relator, has a great sense of humour, and importantly a positive communicator. You may have experience in working with people with disabilities which would be valued. This would be an excellent choice for those who have flexibility with their time and are new to Homecare support or are looking to supplement existing employment. This is a community based role, involving and including am, pm, sleep over, and weekend work. Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Assisting clients with personal cares Home help Shopping assistance Meal preparations Supporting exercise programmes Moving and handling using hoists and manual transfers Assisting clients to access the community

Job Requirements

Experience in personal cares Experience in Complex Cares Bowel and SPC Cares Level three or Level four qualification in Health and Wellbeing would be an advantage, however, someone looking at making a career in the Healthcare Industry would also be considered for this role Access to your own car and a Full Drivers License is a requirement of the role as this is community-based work Flexibility to work on a roster including weekends Empathetic and great communication skills Caring and nurturing - knows what the role requires
