A Kerikeri based nursery is currently seeking an ECE Teacher in Training to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be supporting a professional team of teachers in a fun, positive and rewarding environment.

Duties include providing a safe and empowering environment for tamariki to learn and grow, prioritizing their sense of belonging, fostering a loving and trusting bond between infants and toddlers, working closely with whanau to establish excellent routines that support each tamati to ensure their individual needs are met. The ECE centre has two age-appropriate classrooms, each fostering tuakana/teina relationships and engaged tamariki.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in an ECE environment would be a definite advantage although candidates who are great at communicating, friendly, approachable and passionate about nurturing and caring for the needs of tamariki should also consider applying. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & Ministry of Justice police check Willing to train and prepared to study towards becoming a qualified ECE Teacher Have a reliable form of transport to get to work on time
