Grill Chef
About this job
Preparing, portioning and cooking food to Fergburger's specifications. Monitoring the quality and presentation of all food leaving the grill station and ensure it is prepared and cooked to a high standard. Seasoning food during cooking. Have full menu knowledge. Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen. Operate grills and fryers efficiently and safely. Ensure food is correctly stored and handled. Supervising junior Grill Chefs in our processes. Prepare food to meet particular dietary requirements for customers. Working to advised food safety and hygiene standards and processes.
Job Requirements
Be a positive team player and work with both Back and Front of house teams to ensure effective, efficient running of the kitchen.
- Days of work
- Open 8am - 4.30am, 7 days a week - you will work on a rotating roster (morning, afternoon & evening). (30 hours per week)
