What you'll be doing:
As the face of the organisation, our Case Managers will engage with and work alongside our clients to support them into employment, emergency housing, administer hardship grants and other assistance as required.
Our clients come from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. On any given day you'll interview clients, either over the phone or face to face, all with different circumstances and receiving different types of support from us. You'll work with clients to empower them to achieve their goals and to take steps towards a better future.
Every day is busy and demanding but very rewarding as you can positively influence people's lives. Job Requirements
What you'll need to succeed:
We are looking for people who can work in a fast paced, pressured environment and have the confidence to make good, considered decisions. You'll have strong people skills and be able to negotiate outcomes. Empathy, conscientiousness and problem-solving are some of your key strengths.
You'll have the ability to put the client at the centre and understand their unique situation and challenges. You'll bring a high level of personal integrity, initiative and self-management skills. All convictions must be disclosed as Police Vetting will be carried out
Key strengths and attribute:
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop trust and rapport quickly. Sound decision making and problem-solving skills. Sound computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Exceptional customer service skills, client focused.
