Delivery Driver

A local company is looking for a full-time delivery driver. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver our goods to customers, utilizing our fleet of vehicles. • Safe loading and on-time departure of delivery vehicles as required. • Safe delivery of goods to each of our customer sites. • Ensure deliveries are made in full, on time, and in accordance with our customer's requirements. • Ensure that the vehicle remains fit for purpose for the next day or the driver. • Must be physically fit - frequent lifting of up to 25kg (Manual Handling Required). • Class 1 and 2 NZ license. • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle and daily prestart check of allocated vehicles. • Hold Clean driving and criminal record. • MOJ (Ministry of Justice) Clearance and Clear Drug check required. • Minimum 6 months of driving experience preferred but not essential. • An understanding of food warehousing & distribution. • Reliability, punctuality, and a clean criminal history, and clean driving record. • Ability to work unsupervised.
