Part-time Delivery Driver

Local food distributer based in New Plymouth need a Part-time Delivery Driver. This is a casual role with a minimum of 12 hours per week with opportunity for more especially when required to cover other staff leave.

You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of food products to various locations in and around New Plymouth, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the integrity of our business.

In this role you will safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and trucks) to transport goods, load and unload products, ensuring they are securely and safely transported. Deliver goods according to customer orders in a timely manner At times you may also assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs. You may also need to wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required and help the team in picking/dispatching if needed.

To apply you meet the below requirements: • A full Class 2 drivers licence is required and you must be able to drive manual. • Have clear communication and customer service skills Knowledge of Taranaki region and its surrounding areas Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills • Be confident, reliable, flexible and have attention to detail Clean driving and criminal records • Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kg. • Be a team player with a positive attitude
