Farm Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic farm assistant to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to work with our herd of 720 cows in a modern milking facility equipped with in-bail teat spraying, an in-shed feed system, Protrack, and Allflex cow collars for heat detection and health monitoring.

Key Responsibilities: -Milking cows and assisting with calving/calf rearing and mating -Shifting irrigators and managing break fencing -Moving cows into allocated paddocks -Providing general care for stock and assisting with weed spraying -Participating in general farm maintenance tasks

Requirements: -Honesty, reliability, and a team player attitude -Minimum of 6 months prior farm assistant experience -Experience with tractor driving, milking cows, feeding silage, and riding a 2-wheel motorbike -Clear criminal record and willingness to undergo drug testing -Minimum of 35 hours and up to 50 hours per week
