About this job

We are a small law firm looking for a legal assistant in our Johnsonville office. The position includes: • On-boarding clients • Preparing new files and assisting our conveyancing team with document preparation • Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email • Track deadlines to ensure legal documents are filed in a timely manner • Maintain strict confidentiality of organizational and client information

We will estimate and follow up with regular updates.

Job Requirements

Applicants will ideally have experience working in a fast-paced office, can work to a high standard under time pressure, fast to learn new skills and show initiative with tasks. Sense of humour is also a must! Experience working with lawyers or exposure in dealing with legal documents would be a bonus.
