Maintenance Specialist

GISBORNE: We’re looking for a talented Maintenance Specialist to help us keep the good energy flowing. In this interesting and varied role you will will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing management of the company's Network Routine Asset inspection and Maintenance programmes. You'll ensure all maintenance plans are kept up to date in our system (Maximo) and providing regular reporting on progress and issues. You'll also be responsible for managing Corrective Maintenance as and when it arises, and along with contractor management, will be a key part of this role. This role is based at our Gisborne office however will require some travel from time to time to complete onsite audits.
Job Requirements
You will bring along with your relevant trade and/or tertiary qualification, and 5+ years experience in the electricity industry it'd be great if you have strong skills in work management. You'll be able to take a holistic view to planning, organising, leading and controlling maintenance outcomes. You'll also have a working knowledge of NZ Electrical regulations and standards, and be computer savvy (CMMS experience would be a bonus). Pre-employment checks apply so you will need to be able to pass a drug test and a MoJ check, hold a full class 1 driver licence and have an updated CV.
