Traffic Controller

Traffic Controllers required to work under the direction of Site Traffic Management Supervisor. TC directs vehicle and pedestrian traffic in an organised way to ensure public safety at construction zones, accidents, public events or other road disruptions. Duties include set up, manage and remove temporary traffic control schemes and signage, direct traffic using a stop-slow sign and other traffic control devices, give and receive radio updates to coordinate with other road traffic personnel, construction workers and emergency response teams, complete site checks and monitor traffic behaviour and flow to ensure public safety. Must be willing and able for very early start times with days end at completion of work required. Candidates will be trained to complete Traffic Controller course, Site Safe, Construct Safe. Company is based at Wiri, work across a Monday to Saturday dayshift. Applicants must pass a drug and MOJ check. No experience is needed. Must be physically fit. Candidate must have own reliable transport. Early morning start. Training will be provided.
