Permanent Opportunity! As a Nursery Field Worker, you will undertake general horticultural tasks under the guidance of a Field Supervisor. This will include assisting with planting, trimming, staking, weeding and general maintenance of healthy and strong plants. You will also have opportunities to train in the use of nursery-specific horticultural equipment, tractors and sprayers. We are looking for keen and motivated people who are interested in starting their horticultural career, by learning about trees from the very start! Looking after young trees is a year-round responsibility so we are ideally looking for people seeking permanent employment. We are equally as keen to grow our people, as we grow our trees. We support our staff to undertake horticultural and leadership qualifications.

Job Requirements

This is a physical role, that is performed outdoors and in all weather conditions. It is necessary that you have good fitness levels as you will be working on uneven ground and will have some moderate – heavy lifting from time to time. You will also need reliable transport to get to work as our nurseries are in semi-rural locations Must pass pre employment drug test and MOJ check and have updated CV

Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.00pm. (40 hours per week)
