Summer kiwifruit orchard workers

We have an opportunity for people who enjoy outdoor work, motivated and a good team player at various locations in the Te Puke area, mainly south of Te Puke starting approximately the first week of October through to mid-February 2025.. Duties include bud thinning, fruit thinning, crush tipping, male pruning, summer pruning and general orchard maintenance work. This work involves being on your feet and working above head and shoulders height for long periods of time therefore a good level of fitness is required. For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn on-orchard – gumboots are suitable. Tools are provided by the employer and training is provided. You will be required to have secured accommodation within daily distance to the location area prior to applying.

Job Requirements
Experience is preferred but not essential. Own transport required - you will require a minimum of restricted drivers licence. Minor criminal convictions considered.
