Machine Operator / General Hand

Our Otaki based employer is looking to hire a full-time Machine Operator / General Hand to join their team. This role will require you to: Operate clicking presses and CNC machinery Strip and sort products as required Carry out CAD drawing requirements Install and set up dies/tools for production Perform quality control on products and when issues occur to liaise with Management Dispatching products to customers and others as required Liaise with Team Leader and Management in relation to production Make sure that all machinery is in good working order and where repair needed, notify Factory Manager of maintenance needs, carry out repair if directed Share cleaning duties in facilities and factory Keep the factory in a tidy manner

We are looking for someone who has the following skills: Excellent and safe operation of machinery Good computer literacy Sounds knowledge of production systems in order to assist in dispatching in a timely manner Good numerical, written and communication skills Excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn Work well as a team member of a small team Ability to understand and acknowledge Health & Safety issues Ability to follow instructions of Team Leader and Management Flexible to work time variations Ability to meet deadlines Ability to maintain good client relationships
