Restoration Labourer
About this job
Prepare restoration sites by setting up equipment, removing debris and ensuring th area is safe and clean for work. Work alongside technicians in fire and smoke restorations, meth lab decontaminations, water and mould remediations and biohazard cleanup. Under supervision use and maintain basic tools and machinery, including dehumidifiers, air movers and vacuums. Safely collect and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous water materials following company and safety guidelines. Load, unload and transport materials, equipment and supplies to and from job sites as needed. Participate in asbestos removal and odour control operations under strict safety protocols. Assist in checking and maintaining restoration tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.
Job Requirements
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work. A full valid drivers license. Ability to work independently as well as part of team. Flexible and adaptable, able to work extended hours, weekends and in emergencies when required. Physically fit and able to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy materials and working in challenging conditions. Self motivated and a passionate individual. hardworking individuals. multi-tasker.
- Days of work
- Monday to Sunday between 7am and 7pm. We also do on call emergency services as well. (30 hours per week)
